Wii Motion Plus Released Before June

Nintendo alledgedly say that the Motion Plus peripheral for the Wii will be out before EA Grand Slam Tennis which is due for release on the 18th of june.

The peripheral is said to increase the precision of the wiimote by allowing it to detect rotational movement aswell as side to side and front and back movements.

Xbox 360 Outsells Wii in Japan

According to Last weeks sales figures Xbox 360 has outsold the Nintendo Wii in Japan. This is mainly due to the release of Star Ocean 4 exlusivley on the xbox 360, pushing it over 21 thousand unit mark, whereas wii only sold a measly 16.9 thousand. Hurray for Xbox!

Ready 2 Rumble Coming to wii in March

Atari have recently announced their plans to release the next instalment of the Ready 2 Rumble series on the wii next month. Entitled “Ready 2 Rumble Revolution” the game looks set to be a welcome addition to the comical boxing franchise.

GTA4 The Lost and Damned review

GTA4 The Lost and Damned is said to be the biggest piece of downloadable content available to date. Expanding the original game with a whole new storyline as well as new weapons, characters and vehicles which can give over 20 hours of mission based gameplay.

Though priced at a hefty 1600 Microsoft Points, this is a substantial addition to the original game and could happily get the game off the owners shelves and back into their consoles.

The Nintendo wii is a console usually reserved for the young family market, with a very wide array of child friendly games. but now theres a new game, that’s definatley not for the nippers. “House of the Dead: Overkill” brings back the old arcade favorite, the light gun shooter. with its 18 rating and brutal looking trailer(shown below). overkill should be an excellent game for the adult gamer. go grab your little sisters wiimote and enjoy.
