Xbox Live gold members are in for a treat today as the Premuim Challenge pack for PGR4 is available for 240 ms points rather than the usual 400.
Currently the most popular game being played on Xbox live Treyarch have no need to add further incentive for gamers to get online this weekend. This didn’t stop them though as they have set up the good old double experience regime for the WW2 shooter. you’ll get twice the experience for kills, flag captures and everything else. so break out the armory and get shooting.
The double experience setting will be active on Xbox Live between March 6th and and March 9th.

The recent downloadable content that became available for Valve’s game Left 4 Dead brought with it a new survival mode, that does exactly what it says on the tin, you have to survive waves of zombie attacks.

Team 17, developers behind Worms, Worms World Party and Worms 3d, have announced their upcoming release for the Xbox Live Arcade. Its called Worms 2: Armageddon, strange since originally Worms 2 was called ‘Worms 2′ and Worms 3 was called ‘Worms Armageddon’ if remember correctly. Anyhoo, the new worms game will include new weapons and game modes, hopefully granny bombs and big stone donkeys will be included.
The developers had this to say:
“The scope of the game allows a ton of different set-ups, although … we’ve pre-included Forts, Rope-Racing and more,” “The new vertical play levels are really good, especially in the tighter PRO schemes. Anyway, not too much information for now.”
The Demo for the upcoming Wheelman game starring Vin Diesel is out now to download on Xbox live, joining Vin Diesels other charachter in Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena.
Mercenaries Mode is a bonus game mode of resident evil 5 where you race agains the clock to kill as many zombies as you can, briliantly demonstrated by the games main charachters:

The New Xbox Experience is updated version of the dashboard blade system which changes many aspects of your xbox including gamer avatars.
As yet the New Xbox Experience has been available for download for those connected to xbox live, but now it has been confirmed that selected games being released in the near future will carry the update and will be compulsary to play the game.
The reason for this is apparently because the new xbox experience is harder for game pirates to crack.
It is unknown which games will be bundled with the patch but my guess ittl be more popular titles such as HAWX.
