The SEGA Mega Drive is set to make a return in the UK video game market thanks to the April release of the Blaze SEGA Mega Drive.

The 16-bit console is being revived as a low priced two-player home console which features 15 games built in to the console. The console will also play original Mega Drive game cartridges. Two six button controller are also included.

Games included: Alex Kid, Alien Storm, Altered Beast, Arrow Flash, Bonanza Bros., Columns, Crack Down, Decap Attack, E Swat, Fatal Labyrinth, Flicky, Gain Ground, Golden Axe, Shadow Dancer, Sonic And Knuckles.

Some lunatic 16 year old stabbed another 16 for stealing his games console. Shane Boyd apparently hit Conor Black with a beer can and stabbed him in the back as he tried to flee. I Personaly find it ridiculous that such petty theft can instigate murder these days, i love my xbox as much as anyone else but stabbing is just stupid. On top of stabbing Conor Black, Shane claimed to be “The man” immediatley after the stabbing.

“the man” as he likes to call himself has been jailed for life, with no prospect of parole for 11 years.

Conor Black’s family had this to say: “All the hopes and dreams of a family were crushed when Conor’s life was stolen in that terrible, violent way.”

Stupidity seems to know no bounds with such pettyness getting people killed.

NASA announced that they have chosen a game developer for their MMO game “Astronaut: Moon Mars and Beyond”

The developers “Virtual Heroes” have been selected for the job, who’s previous acheivments include Americas Army.

The project is said to be a platform for learning at a considerabley lower cost than a NASA internship.

“We want to create a fun, compelling gaming experience that will give players the chance to learn about science and engineering careers while they play the game,” says Daniel Laughlin of NASA.

“NASA is committed to attracting more students to science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields of study and careers. We hope this game will inspire players to consider those careers.”

Black Rock Studios, creators of quad biking game “Pure” released a trailer for an unnamed racing game that looks to be quite exiting.
